The Sidebar is our high-energy, unfiltered TikTok Live series where the Bench tackles viral social prompts, trending dilemmas, and pop-culture precedents. Unlike the formal Docket, the Sidebar is an open deliberation where the Gallery takes the floor.
ROLE PROFILE
Amicus Curiae
Latin for "Friend of the Court." During a Sidebar, guests join the panel boxes not as litigants, but as moral advisors. They provide insight, logic, and perspective to help the Bench analyze a prompt.
ENTRY POINT
The Gallery
The TikTok chat serves as the primary Jury. Through polls and comments, the Gallery dictates the direction of the Sidebar and votes on the final consensus of the night.
Sidebar Protocols
- No Boring Energy: Sidebar is fast-paced. Bring a logical argument or be dropped from the box.
- Stay on Prompt: All Amicus Curiae must address the visual prompt currently on screen.
- Elevation Clause: If a Sidebar topic proves too complex for casual discussion, the Bench may officially Docket the case for the full 12-member Panel.
